(3) The repeal by this Act of the Administration of Evacuee Property Ordinance 1949, or the Hyderabad Administration of Evacuee Property Regulation or of any corresponding law shall not affect the previous operation of that Ordinance, Regulation or corresponding law and subject thereto, anything done or any action taken in the exercise of any power conferred by or under that Ordinance, Regulation or corresponding law, shall be deemed to have been done or taken in the exercise of the powers conferred by or under this Act as if this Act were in force on the day on which such thing was done or action was taken.] ______________________________ 1. Sources of certain information not to be disclosed The Governor in his discretion shall make rules for securing that no records or information relating to the sources from which information has been or may be obtained with respect to the operations of persons committing, or conspiring, preparing, or attempting to commit, such crimes as are mentioned in the last preceding section, shall be disclosed or given-- (a) by any member of any police force in the Province to another member of that force except in accordance with directions of the Inspector General of Police or Commissioner of Police, as the case may be, or to any other person except in accordance with directions of the Governor in his discretion; or (b) by any other person in the service of the Crown in the Province to any person except in accordance with directions of the Governor in his discretion. _________________________ 1. Section 58 - Elections (1) The conduct of elections of the Board of Directors of the Federal Co-operative shall be the responsibility of the incumbent board of the Federal Co-operative. Elections shall be conducted before the expiry of the term of the office of the outgoing directors in the manner specified in the bye-laws.1[The Registrar shall appoint a returning officer for conducting such elections.] (2) The newly elected directors shall assume office immediately after expiry of the term of the outgoing board. (3) Where the number of nominations exceeds the number of directors to be elected, the election of directors shall be by secret ballot. ___________________ 1. Title: Vesting in the State Government of Land Leased Contrary to the Act

1[58. Vesting in the State Government of land leased contrary to the Act (1) Where it appears to the Tahsildar that any person has leased land contrary to the provisions of this Act, he shall issue a notice to such person to show cause within fifteen days from the date of service of the notice why the land leased should not be forfeited to the State Government as penalty for contravention of the Act. (2) If the Tahsildar on considering the reply or other cause shown is satisfied that there has been such a lease he may, by order, declare that the right, title and interest of such person in the land shall be forfeited to the State Government as penalty. Thereupon the land shall vest in the State Government and the Tahsildar may take possession thereof by summarily evicting any person occupying it.1[No amount shall be payable in respect of such land.] (3) Such land shall be disposed of in accordance with the provisions of section 77.] ______________________________________ 1. (2) Upon such conversion, the partners of the firm, the shareholders of private company or unlisted public company, as the case may be, the limited liability partnership to which such firm or such company has converted, and the partners of the limited liability partnership shall be bound by the provisions of the Second Schedule, the Third Schedule or the Fourth Schedule, as the case may be, applicable to them. (3) Upon such conversion, on and from the date of certificate of registration, the effects of the conversion shall be such as specified in the Second Schedule, the Third Schedule or the Fourth Schedule, as the case may be.
