Punjab Reorganisation Act, 1966 Section 58

The liability of the existing State of Punjab in respect of pensions shall pass to, or be apportioned between, the successor States in accordance with the provisions contained in the Fourteenth Schedule.

.....not below the rank of a Group-A officer of2[the Karnataka Administrative Service or the Karnataka State Marketing Service] to exercise such powers and perform all such duties as may be made, given, issued, exercised and performed by a market committee under any of the provisions of items (iv), (vi) and (xii) of clause (a) and items (ii), (iv) and (v) of clause (b) of sub-section (2) of section 63 and sections 66, 67 and 70.] (5) All the officers specified under sub-sections (1), (2), (3) and (4) shall be the servants of the State Government. They shall draw their salary and allowances from the Consolidated Fund of the State. The conditions of service of such officers and staff shall save as otherwise provided in section 59 be such as may be determined by the State Government. _______________ 1. Delhi High Court Act, 1966 Section 5

Title: Jurisdiction of High Court of Delhi

(1) The High Court of Delhi shall have, in respect of the territories for the time being included in the Union Territory of Delhi, all such original, appellate and other jurisdiction as, under the law in force immediately before the appointed day, is exercisable in respect of the said territories by the High Court of Punjab. (2) Notwithstanding anything contained in any law for the time being in force, the High Court of Delhi shall also have in respect of the said territories ordinary original civil jurisdiction in every suit the value of which exceeds1[rupees twenty lakhs] ________________________ 1. Asian Development Bank Act 1966 Section 5

Title: Conferment of Status and Certain Immunities, Exemptions and Privileges on Bank and Conferment of Certain Immunities, Exemptions and Privileges on Its Officers and Employees

(1) Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in any other law, the provisions of the Agreement set out in the Schedule shall have the force of law in India: Provided that nothing in Article 56 of the Agreement shall be construed as-- (a) entitling the Bank to import into India goods free of any duty of customs without any restriction on their subsequent sale therein; or (b) conferring on the Bank any exemption from duties or taxes which from part of the price of goods sold; or (c) conferring on the Bank any exemption from duties or taxes which are in fact no more than charges for services rendered. (2) The Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, amend the Schedule in conformity with any amendments, duly made and adopted, of the provisions of the Agreement set out therein.

Asian Development Bank Act 1966 Section 3

Title: Payments to Bank

(1) There shall be paid out of the Consolidated Fund of India, after due appropriation made by Parliament by law in this behalf, all such sums as may, from time to time, be required for the purpose of paying,-- (a) the subscriptions payable by the Central Government to the Bank under paragraphs 1, 2, and 3 of Article 5 of the Agreement; (b) any commission, fees or other charges payable by the Central Government to the Bank under Article 16 of the Agreement; (c) any sums payable by the Central Government to the Bank under paragraph 1 of Article 25 of the Agreement. (2) The Central Government may, if it thinks fit so to do, create and issue to the Bank, in such form as it thinks fit, any such non-interest bearing and non-negotiable notes or other obligations as are provided for by paragraph 3 of Article 6 of the Agreement.
