Is AI Studio the same as Ask AI or ChatGPT?
No. AI Studio is built into SooperKanoon and scoped to each judgment. The old external Ask AI page now redirects to AI Studio guides.
Do I need to pay for AI Studio?
Yes, except during the 7-day AI Preview or AI Scholar plan. Core search remains free. See Activate AI Studio.
How long does the first AI Brief take?
First generation may take 1–2 minutes. Revisiting the same case loads the cached brief instantly.
Can AI Brief & Ask search other cases?
No. Chat is scoped to the open judgment only. Use Case Search or Citation Search to find other authorities.
Does Semantic AI Search change ranking?
No. Only your search phrase (and optional routing filters) is refined; relevance and excerpts use the existing engine.
What is the daily limit?
No daily rewrite cap for standard Semantic AI Search. Access is gated by AI Studio activation. Citations and single-word queries bypass AI.
I picked the wrong bonus feature on AI Copilot. Can I switch to AI Studio?
Add features or upgrade at Manage Billing (/billing). See Manage billing and upgrades in Help for prorated changes.
Why does the button say Unlock AI Studio?
Your account is logged in but AI Studio is not on your plan or not selected at signup. See Activate AI Studio.
Is Verdict Lens a separate paid feature?
No - included in AI Studio bonus.
Is Devil's Bench a separate paid feature?
No - included in AI Studio bonus.
How is Devil's Bench different from Verdict Lens?
Verdict Lens predicts outcomes and confidence scores. Devil's Bench generates opposing arguments, procedural defenses, and rebuttals to stress-test your position.
