Steps
- Log out and log back in after payment or plan change.
- Wait 1–2 minutes on first AI Brief generation for a case.
- Check Verdict Lens, Devil's Bench, and DocMind daily caps if those tools fail.
- Contact support with account email if still locked after renewal.
Verdict Lens or DocMind rate limits
Cause
Daily caps on Verdict Lens analyses, DocMind uploads, or chat messages.
Fix
- Wait until the next day or reduce usage.
- Link an existing SooperKanoon judgment in DocMind instead of pasting huge files.

AI Studio button shows "Unlock" or pricing
Cause
You are logged in but AI Studio is not activated for your account, or your subscription expired.
Fix
- Log in with the account used for payment.
- Check Dashboard → Profile → expiry date and activated features.
- If AI Studio is missing on Starter/Pro Plus, you may not have selected it at signup - contact support or upgrade to Biz Plus.
- If expired, renew at Pricing.
- Log out and log back in to refresh your session.

Guest - button goes to Features page
Cause
AI Studio is a Bonus Feature; guests cannot generate briefs.
Fix
Sign up for a 7-day Trial or subscribe at Pricing.
AI Brief stuck loading
Cause
First-time generation for a long judgment may take longer. Network timeouts or temporary API load can also delay results.
Fix
- Wait at least 2–3 minutes on first visit.
- Refresh the page once - cached briefs load on retry after success.
- Open Read full judgment to confirm the case page works; if the site is slow everywhere, try again later.
- If it fails repeatedly, note the judgment ID and contact [email protected].
Chat does not answer or says feature unavailable
Cause
Session expired, subscription lapsed, or AI Studio deactivated mid-session.
Fix
- Log out and log back in.
- Confirm AI Studio still appears on Profile.
- Reload
/case/ai-chat/{id}.
AI answer seems wrong or too generic
Cause
AI summarizes text; it can miss nuance, dissent, or conditional orders.
Fix
- Always verify against Read full judgment.
- Ask narrower questions in Ask the judgment.
- Do not cite AI text in filings - cite the judgment with proper paragraph references.
"Bonus Feature not activated" flash message
Cause
Same as locked state - plan or feature flag issue.
Fix
Follow Bonus feature not activated. Ensure AI Studio (not just login) is listed on Profile.
