Dated this the 5th day of June, 2023 The challenge in this revision petition is against an order requiring the petitioner to furnish cash security of Rs.4,10,000/- for releasing of his vehicle seized in connection with a crime registered under the Abkari Act. Although learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the condition is onerous and the petitioner should be permitted to furnish bond instead of cash security, since he is not an accused.
