Create a SooperKanoon account in a few minutes to unlock bonus tools like saving judgments, notes, and tags - or start with a free 7-day trial.
Before you start
Anyone can search cases, acts, dictionary, and forms on SooperKanoon without an account. You only need to sign up if you want bonus features (favorites, notes, tags, organizer, annotations, search history). A free Trial plan gives you all bonus features for 7 days. Paid plans (Starter, Pro Plus, Biz Plus) and the free Student plan are also available at Pricing.
Steps
- Go to Pricing and compare plans. Click Sign up on Trial, Student, Starter, Pro Plus, or Biz Plus.
- On the signup page, enter your name (as on ID proof), email, mobile number, and postal address.
- Choose monthly or annual billing if you picked a paid plan.
- On Starter or Pro Plus, select your bonus features from the list (Starter = 1 feature, Pro Plus = 2). Trial, Student, and Biz Plus include all bonus features automatically.
- Tick the box to agree to the Terms and Conditions.
- For paid plans, complete payment through Razorpay or CCAvenue. Trial and Student plans skip payment.
- Check your email for confirmation, then go to Login and sign in with your email and password.
- Open Dashboard, click the Profile tab, and verify your subscription plan and activated bonus features.
What you'll see
After login, your Dashboard shows usage stats (favorites, notes, tags). The Profile tab lists your plan name, expiry date, amount paid, and which bonus features are active (e.g. Favourites, Notes, Tags). You can now use activated features on judgment pages and elsewhere on the site.
Common mistakes
- Skipping mobile number verification - a valid mobile number is required for account authentication.
- Choosing the wrong bonus features at signup on Starter/Pro Plus - you pick them once during checkout; contact [email protected] if you need changes.
- Expecting bonus features to work before login - you must be logged in with an active, non-expired subscription.
Tips
- Start with the 7-day Trial at
/users/signup/plan:trialto try every bonus feature before paying. - Law students can use the free Student plan (1 year, all bonus features) at
/users/signup/plan:student. - Bookmark Dashboard to quickly check when your subscription expires.
