- Before creating LexPulse alerts or CiteSignal watches, check active counts against the limits below.
- If an AI tool shows a rate-limit message, note which tool you used and wait until the next calendar day.
- Reduce usage: link judgments in DocMind instead of re-uploading, pause unused alerts, or archive old Research Crew topics.

AI Brief & Ask is cached per judgment - repeat visits to the same case do not regenerate the full brief unless you force a refresh.
What happens when you hit a limit
- AI tools show a rate-limit message - try again the next calendar day or use a lighter action (e.g. link an existing judgment in DocMind instead of uploading a large file).
- LexPulse / CiteSignal: delete or pause unused alerts to stay under the active cap.
- Research Crew / MootForge: archive old crews or problems before creating new ones.
Common mistakes
- Counting DraftPilot as a separate paid feature - it uses the same AI Studio activation as Brief, Verdict Lens, Devil's Bench, and DocMind.
- Expecting unlimited DocMind uploads on AI Copilot - daily caps apply on all paid tiers.
Tips
- See AI Studio troubleshooting for session and activation issues separate from quotas.
- Delete stale LexPulse alerts you no longer need before creating new ones.
