In one sentence

Create a LexPulse alert from /lex-pulse/add or the Pulse this search button on case SERP with optional filters.

Before you start

LexPulse activated on your Profile and an active subscription. Up to 10 active alerts by default. The Pulse this search button appears on every case search with a phrase (3+ characters); guests must log in to save.

Steps

  1. Run a case search or open LexPulseCreate alert.
  2. On search results, click Pulse this search to open the add form with the query pre-filled.
  3. Enter or edit a phrase (3+ characters) - e.g. arbitration seat India.
  4. Set relevance (Chill → Surgical) and optional court filter.
  5. Click Save alert - watermarks prevent a blast of old cases on first run.

What you'll see

Confirmation flash and the alert listed as Active on LexPulse index.

Common mistakes

  • Creating duplicate alerts for the same phrase.
  • Omitting court filter when researching a specific High Court.
  • Expecting the Pulse button only when LexPulse is activated - it is visible on search for discovery; saving requires access.

Tips

  • After a productive keyword search, Pulse this search reuses the same phrase.
  • Use the optional court filter to narrow alerts to one forum.
