Pushpendra Kumar Sinha Vs. Central Bureau of Investigation Through Its ...

Court: Jharkhand

Decided on: Jun-21-2013

In the High Court of Jharkhand at Ranchi W.P.(Cr.) No.108 of 2013 Pushpendra Kumar Sinha .....................................Petitioner VERSUS Central Bureau of Investigation and others...Opposite Parties CORAM: HONBLE MR. JUSTICE R.R.PRASAD For the Petitioner:Mr.R.S.Majumdar, Sr. Advocate For the C.B. I : Mr. M.Khan, Advocate 2/ 21.6.13. The only concern which has been shown by Mr.Majumdar, learned Sr. counsel appearing for the petitioner is that the petitioner is being prosecuted for the same offence by the C.B.I as well as Vigilance. It was further submitted that pursuant to the order passed by the Division Bench, investigation of the case lodged by the Vigilance was taken over by the C.B.I. However, the stand of the C.B.I is that the C.B.I is no more investigating the case, rather the case is being investigated by the Vigilance. In that view of the matter, I do not find any merit in this case and hence, this application stands dismissed. (R.R. Prasad, J.) ND/...
