The Pondicherry Town and Country Planning Act, 1969 Complete Act

An Act to amend the Indian Ports Act, 1908, in its application to the Union territory of Pondicherry. Be it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Pondicherry in the Twentieth Year of the Republic of India as follows :- Short title, extent and commencement. 1. (1) This Act may be called the Indian Ports (Pondicherry Amendment) Act, 1969. (2) It shall extend to the whole of the Union territory of Pondicherry. 1(3) It shall come into force on such date as the Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint. Substitution of new section for section 36. 2. For section 36 of the Indian Ports Act, 1908 (15 of 1908) (hereinafter referred to as the Principal Act), the following section shall be substituted, namel y- 1.
