.....of words "Medical Diploma" with the words "Practitioner in Alternative Medicine" The words "Practitioner in Alternative Medicine" shall be substituted where ever the words "Medical Diploma" appear in Chhattisgarh Chikitsa Adhiniyam, 2001. Section 5 - Substitution of sub-section (c) of Section 2 with the new subsection (c) Sub-section (c) of Section 2 of the Chhattisgarh Chikitsa Mandal Adhiniyam, 2001 shall be substituted with the following:-- "2(c) 'Medicine' means, alternative medicine in all its branches, but does not include, allopathy, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, Naturopathy and Unani Medicine and Veterinary Medicine and Surgery". Section 6 - Amendment in clause (ii) of subjection (1) of Section 4 (1) In clause (ii) of sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Chhattisgarh Chikitsa Mandal Adhiniyam, 2001, the word "Five" shall be substituted with the word "Four". (2) Sub-clause (a) of clause (ii) of sub-section (1) of Section 4 of the Chhattisgarh Chikitsa Mandal Adhiniyam, 2001 shall be deleted. Chhatisgarh State Acts

(b) consider the scheme, having regard to the factors referred to in sub-section (5), and submit the scheme together with its recommendations thereon to the State Government. THE CHHATTISGARH CONTINGENCY FUND ACT, 2001 THE CHHATTISGARH CONTINGENCY FUND ACT, 2001 [Act No. 1 of 2001] An Bill to provide for the establishment and maintenance of the Contingency Fund of the State of Chhattisgarh. Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislature in the fifty second year of the Republic of India as follows: Section 1 - Short title and commencement (1) This Act may be called as the Chhattisgarh Contingency Fund Act, 2001 (2) It shall come into force on the whole State of Chhattisgarh from its publication in the Official Gazette. Section 2 - Definitions In this Act, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject of context, "the Fund" means the Contingency Fund of the State of Chhattisgarh established under section 3. Section 3 - Establishment of Contingency Fund There shall be established a Fund in the nature of an imp rest entitled "The Contingency Fund of the State of Chhattisgarh" into which shall be paid from and out of the consolidated Fund of the State of Chhattisgarh a sum of forty crores of rupees. Section 7 - Disqualification for remaining as student (1) Pending investigation or trial of an offence under this Act, the head of the educational institution shall have the power to suspend a student accused of an offence under this Act and debar him from entry into premises of the educational institution and the hostel. (2) A student of an educational institution who has been convicted under Section 4 shall be liable to rustication from the educational institution. (3) A student who has been rusticated or any other person who has been convicted under this Act shall not be admitted to another educational institution within the jurisdiction of the state for a period of three years.
