| THE CHHATTISGARH VIDHAN SABHA SADASYA VETAN, BHATTA TATHA PENSION (DWITIYA SANSODHAN) ADHINIYAM, 2001 [Act No. 24 of 2001] PREAMBLE A Adhiniyam further to amend the (Chhattisgarh) Vidhan Sabha Sadasya (Vetan, Bhatta Tatha Pension) Adhiniyam, 1972 (hereinafter referred to as the Principal Act). Be it enacted by the Chhattisgarh Legislative in the Fifty Second year of the Republic of India, as follows :- Section 1 - Short title This Act may be called the Chhattisgarh Vidhan Sabha Sadasya Vetan, Bhatta Tatha Pension (Dwitiya Sanshodhan) Adhiniyam, 2001. Section 2 - Scope and Commencement This amendment will apply to the whole of the State of Chhattisgarh and shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Gazette. Section 3 - Amendment in Section 6-A In the Section 6-A of the Principal Act the words "one thousand five hundred rupees" shall be substituted by "three thousand five hundred rupees." Section 4 - Amendment in Section 6-A In the Section 6-A(1) of the Principal Act in proviso the words "one hundred rupees" shall be substituted by "two hundred rupees." Section 5 - Amendment in Section 6-C In the Section 6-C of the Principal Act the words "and there shall be paid a medical allowances of Rs. one thousand live hundred per mensem" added in the end of Section. Section 6 - Amendment in Section 7(1-A) In the Section 7(1-A) of the Principal Act, after explanation-II, Explanation-Ill shall be added "Explanation III-for the purpose of this sub-section, the member shall include the dependent namely the spouse, mother, father, son, daughter (not married) of the member." |
