Water-works, includes all lakes, tanks,streams, cisterns, springs, pumps, wells, reservoirs, aqueducts, water-tanks, sluices mains, pipes, culverts, hydrants, stand-pipes, and conduits, and all machinery, lands, buildings, bridges and things, used for, or intended for the purpose of supplying water to a cantonment.
