ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to transfer the patta for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition in favour of the petitioner, based on her online application, dated 26.07.2025, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2. Mr.D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.
3. The petitioner claims that she is the absolute owner of the
subject property and is in possession of the same. She claims that she has acquired the subject property through a court auction sale. Earlier, a direction was issued by this Court in W.P.No.37030 of 2015 to the 3 rd respondent to consider the petitioner’s application seeking for issuance of patta in her name. Since the civil suit was pending, the 3 rd respondent had rejected the petitioner’s application by directing the petitioner to

approached the civil court. Now, it is stated that the said civil suit has been dismissed and therefore, the 3rd respondent can now issue patta in favour of the petitioner for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition. Therefore, the petitioner had made an online application, dated 26.07.2025 seeking transfer of patta in her name, subsequent to the dismissal of the civil suit filed by a rival claimant. Since the same was not considered till date, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
4. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents, if the
petitioner’s online application, dated 26.07.2025 as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners and any other third party, whom the 3rd respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the 3rd respondent to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law, on the petitioner’s transfer application, dated 26.07.2025 seeking for transfer of Page No.3 of 6
patta in the name of the petitioner for the property morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition, after hearing the objections, if any, from the neighbouring land owners and any other third party, whom the 3 rd respondent deems it fit to enquire, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
