JUDGMENT
The petitioner is 78 year old mother of the respondents. She obtained an order of maintenance against the respondents in M.C.No.381/2018. It was allowed as per mediation agreement. However, the respondents did not comply with the order. Hence,
the petitioner filed Ext.P2 petition for enforcement of the order
under Section 125(3) of the Cr.P.C. The petitioner has approached this Court to direct the Family Court, Thrissur to dispose of Ext.P2 within a time frame.
2. I have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. As stated already, the petitioner is aged 78 years. The
order in MC was passed in 2023. According to the petitioner, not
a single pie has been paid towards maintenance so far. Considering the age of the petitioner, the Family Court is directed to take all earnest efforts to see that the maintenance order is enforced and shall dispose of Ext.P2 in accordance with law, as
expeditiously as possible. The original petition is disposed of accordingly. Sd/- DR.
