1. By virtue of the present petition under Article 226 of the
Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the petitioner seeks issuance of a writ of mandamus transferring the investigation in FIR No.39/2026 dated 15.01.2026 from PS: Govind Puri to the CBI.
2. Without adverting to the merits of the matter, learned ASC for the
State, at the outset, submits that the police is actively involved in the proceedings as evident from the FIR, which was registered on the very next day of the incident. Be that as it may, she undertakes that a proper response to both the complaints dated 21.01.2026 and 29.01.2026 shall be communicated to the petitioner within a period of two weeks.
3. In view of the aforesaid, learned counsel for the petitioner does not
wish to press the present petition and seeks to withdraw the same.
4. Accordingly, the present petition, along with the pending
application, is dismissed as withdrawn in the aforesaid terms.
