.....and valid nomination circular were issued without constituting election sub-committee, as per rule 4(ii) of the state banks' staff union by-laws and rules, 2010. 3. the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks in aid of the order dated 24.05.2016 in w.mp.nos.16145 and 16146 of 2016 in w.p.no.18397 of 2016 (principal seat), wherein, at paragraph no.7, it is ordered as follows: 7. hence, there shall be an ad interim injunction restraining the respondents from conducting the election as per the 36th general council list of valid nominations dated 20.05.2016, without forming the election committee, as per the bye-law. 4. in the main writ petition, the relief sought for by the petitioner is for passing of an order by this court in restraining the respondents from conducting the election in 36th general council to be held on 11th and 12th of june, 2016, without constituting the election sub committee, as per rules 4(i) (ii) of the state banks' staff union. 5. in view of the above, notice is ordered to the respondents 1 to 4 returnable by 09.06.2016. in this regard, the petitioner is directed to pay emergent batta/steps for serving notice to the respondents. private notice is also.....

M. Venugopal, J.

1. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.

2. The Learned Counsel for the Petitioner primarily contends that the election notification and valid nomination circular were issued without constituting election sub-committee, as per Rule 4(ii) of the State Banks' Staff Union By-laws and Rules, 2010.

3. The Learned Counsel for the Petitioner seeks in aid of the order dated 24.05.2016 in W.MP.Nos.16145 and 16146 of 2016 in W.P.No.18397 of 2016 (Principal Seat), wherein, at paragraph No.7, it is ordered as follows:

7. Hence, there shall be an ad interim injunction restraining the respondents from conducting the Election as per the 36th General Council list of valid nominations dated 20.05.2016, without forming the Election Committee, as per the bye-law.

4. In the main writ petition, the relief sought for by the petitioner is for passing of an order by this Court in restraining the respondents from conducting the election in 36th General Council to be held on 11th and 12th of June, 2016, without constituting the election sub committee, as per Rules 4(i) (ii) of the State Banks' Staff Union.

5. In view of the above, notice is ordered to the respondents 1 to 4 returnable by 09.06.2016. In this regard, the petitioner is directed to pay emergent batta/steps for serving notice to the respondents. Private notice is also permitted.

6. Post the matter on 09.06.2016.
