.....or other place from which milk is sold or supplied for sale, or in which milk is sold or supplied for sale, or in which milk is kept for sale or manufactured for sale into butter, ghee, cheese, cream, curd butter-milk or dried, sterilized or condensed milk; and (b) in relation to a dairy man who does not occupy any premises for the sale of milk, any place in which he keeps the vessels used by him for the storage of sale of milk but does not include " (i) a shop or place in which milk is sold for consumption on the premises only; or (ii) a shop or place from which milk is sold or supplied for sale in airtight and hermetically sealed and unopened receptacles in the same original condition in which it was first received in such shop or place; (13) "Dairy man" includes any occupier of a dairy, any cow-keeper who trades in milk or any seller of milk whether wholesale, or by retail; (14) "Dairy Produce" includes milk, butter, ghee, cheese, cream, curd, butter-milk and any and every product of milk; (15) "Date of commencement of this Act" means the first day of May, 1971; (16) "Filth" means " (a) might soil and other contents of latrines, cesspools and drains; (b) dung and refuse or.....

THE TAMIL NADU COURT-FEES AND SUITS VALUATION (AMENDMET) ACT, 1971 THE TAMIL NADU COURT-FEES AND SUITS VALUATION (AMENDMET) ACT, 1971. (Received the assent of the President on 23rd October, 1979) Published in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette (Extraordinary), Part IV, section 4, page, 863, dated 26th October, 1971). ACT NO. XXXI OF 1971. An Act further to amend the Tamil Nadu Court fees and Suits Valuation Act, 1955. BE it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Tamil Nadu in the Twenty-third year of the Republic of India as follows:- Sub title and commencement " 1. (1) This Act may be called THE TAMIL NADU COURTS " FEES AND SUITS VALUATION (AMENDMENT) ACT, 1971. (2) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification, appoint. Amendment of Schedule II of Tamil Nadu Act XIV of 1955 " 3. In Schedule II to the principal Act, in clause(s) of Article 11, for the words "Twenty-five rupees", the words "one-hundred rupees" shall be substituted. Tamil Nadu State Acts

.....Twenty-second Year of the Republic of India as follows: "€ 1. Short title. "€This Act may be called the Madras Preservation of Private Forests (Amendment) Act, 1971. 2. Amendment of section 1. "€In sub-section (3) of section 1 of the Madras Preservation of Private Forests Act, 1949 (Madras Act XXVII of 1949), as in force in the Malabar District referred to in sub-section (2) of section 5 of the States Reorganisation Act, 1956 (Central Act 37 of 1956), for the figures, letters and word "31 st December, 1970", the figures, letters and word ˜31 st December 1971' shall be substituted. 3. Repeal and saving. "€The Madras Preservation of Private Forests (Second Amendment) Ordinance, 1970 (22 of 1970), is hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the Madras Preservation of Private Forests Act, 1949 (Madras Act XXVII of 1949), as amended by the said Ordinance shall be deemed to have been done or taken under the said Act as amended by this Act as if this Act had come into force on the 23 rd day of December, 1970. .....Short title and commencement. "€ (1) This Act may be called the Madras Preservation of Private Forests (Second Amendment) Act, 1971. (2) This section and section 3 shall be deemed to have come into force on the 13 th day of January, 1971 and section 2 shall be deemed to have come into force on the 23 rd day of March, 1968. 2. Amendment of section 10. "€For section 10 of the Madras Preservation of Private Forests Act, 1949 (Madras Act XXVII of 1949) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), the following section shall be substituted, namely: "€ "10. Power to make rules. "€ (1) The State Government may make rules prospectively or retrospectively for carrying out the purposes of this Act. (2) Without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing powers such rules may provide for "€ (a) the classes or kinds of trees, which may be permitted to be cut, and the girth of such trees; (b) the terms and conditions subject to which permissions may be granted; (c) the procedure to be followed by the District Collector before granting permissions; (d) the levy and collection of fees on every application for permission under sub-section (2) of section 3." 3......
