Title: Protection of Human Rights (Amendment) Act, 2006

Commissions for Protection of Child Rights Act, 2005 Chapter II

Title: The National Commission for Protection of Child Rights

.....case may be, a Member, -- (a) becomes subject to any of the disqualifications mentioned in section 7; or (b) tenders his resignation under sub-section (2) of section 5, his seat shall thereupon become vacant. Commissions for Protection of Child Rights Act, 2005 Chapter IV

.....payable to the Secretary, other officers and employees referred to in section 21, shall be paid out of the grants referred to in sub-section (1) of section 28. Scheduled Tribes and Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, 2006 Chapter 2

.....forest dwellers, as the case may be, which are not mentioned in clauses (a) to (k) but excluding the traditional right of hunting or trapping or extracting a part of the body of any species of wild animal; (m) right to in situ rehabilitation including alternative land in cases where the Scheduled Tribes and other traditional forest dwellers have been illegally evicted or displaced from forest land of any description without receiving their legal entitlement to rehabilitation prior to the 13th day of December, 2005. Scheduled Tribes and Other Traditional Forest Dwellers (Recognition of Forest Rights) Act, 2006 Chapter III

Title: Recognition, Restoration and Vesting of Forest Rights and Related Matters

Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act 2009 Chapter VI

RIGHT OF CHILDREN TO FREE AND COMPULSORY EDUCATION ACT 2009 Section 31

Title: Monitoring of child's right to education

.....of Child Rights constituted under section 3, or, as the case may be, the State Commission for Protection of Child Rights constituted under section 17, of the Commissions for Protection of Child Rights Act, 2005 (4 of 2006), shall, in addition to the functions assigned to them under that Act, also perform the following functions, namely:-- (a) examine and review the safeguards for rights provided by or under this Act and recommend measures for their effective implementation; (b) inquire into complaints relating to child's right to free and compulsory education; and (c) take necessary steps as provided under sections 15 and 24 of the said Commissions for Protection of Child Rights Act. (2) The said Commissions shall, while inquiring into any matters relating to child's right to free and compulsory education under clause (c) of sub-section (1), have the same powers as assigned to them respectively under sections 14 and 24 of the said Commissions for Protection of Child Rights Act.
