Title: Right to Reimbursement of Expenses

.....he has a first charge upon the trust-property for such expenses and interest thereon; but such charge (unless the expenses have been incurred with the sanction of a principal civil court of original jurisdiction) shall be enforced only by prohibiting any disposition of the trust-property without previous payment of such expenses and interest. If the trust property fail, the trustee is entitled to recover from the beneficiary personally on whose behalf he acted, and at whose request, expressed implied, he made the payment, the amount of such expenses. Right to he recouped for erroneous over-payment.--Where a trustee has by mistake made an over-payment to the beneficiary, he may reimburse the trust-property out of the beneficiary's interest. If such interest fail, the trustee is entitled to recover from the beneficiary personally the amount of such over-payment.

Title: Reimbursement of Person Paying Money Due by Another, in Payment of Which He is Interested

A person who is interested in the payment of money which another is bound by law to pay, and who therefore pays it, is entitled to be reimbursed by the other. Illustration B holds land in Bengal, on a lease granted by A, the zamindar. The revenue payable by A to the Government being in arrear, his land is advertised for sale by the Government. Under the revenue law, the consequence of such sale will be the annulment of B's lease. B, to prevent the sale and the consequent annulment of his own lease, pays to the Government the sum due from A. A is bound to make good to B the amount so paid.

Title: Liability of the Manufacturer for Reimbursement

Whenever any person operating a dangerous machine suffers death or dismemberment of any limb or any other bodily injury-- (i) by reason of any manufacturing defect in the machine whereby such death, dismemberment or injury was caused, or (ii) by reason of the omission of the manufacturer to comply with the provisions of this Act and the rules and orders made thereunder, such manufacturer shall be liable to reimburse the person by whom compensation had to be paid under this Act to the members of the family of the person whose death was caused by such machine or, as the case may be, to the person by whom such dismemberment or bodily injury was suffered.
