Customs Act, 1962 Section 11G

Title: Sections 11c, 11e and 11f Not to Apply to Goods in Personal Use

(1) Nothing in sections 11C, 11E and 11F shall apply to any notified goods which are-- (a) in personal use of the person by whom they are owned, possessed or controlled, or (b) kept in the residential premises of a person for his personal use. (2) If any person, who is in possession of any notified goods referred to in sub-section (1), sells, or otherwise transfers for a valuable consideration, any such goods, he shall issue to the purchaser or transferee, as the case may be, a memorandum containing such particulars as may be specified by rules made in this behalf and no such goods shall be taken from one place to another unless they are accompanied by the said memorandum.]

Title: Prevention of Danger Arising from Obstruction of View, Etc., of Persons Using Any Highway

Northern India Canal and Drainage Act, I873 Section 18

Title: Persons Using Water Course to Construct Works for Passing Water Across Roads, Etc

Year: 1873

The Divisional Canal-officer may issue an order to the person using any water-course to construct suitable bridges, culverts or other works for the passage of the water of such water-course across an public road, canal or drainage-channel in use before the said water course was made, or to repair any such works. Such order shall specify a reasonable period within which such] construction or repairs shall be completed; and if, after the receipt of such order, the persons to whom it is addressed do not, within the said period, construct or repair such works to the satisfaction of the said Canal-officer, he may, with the previous approval of the Superintending Canal-officer, himself construct or repair the same;(If they fail canal officer may construct.) and if the said persons do not, when so required, pay the cost of such construction or repairs as declared by the Divisional Canal officer, the amount shall, on the demand of the Divisional Canal Officer, be recoverable from them by the Collector as if it were a arrear of land-revenue.(and recover cost.)

Title: Prevention of Obstruction of View of Persons Using Any Highway.--

(4) If a person is aggrieved by an order issued by the Highway Authority under sub-section (3), he may prefer an appeal within fifteen days from the date when such order was communicated to him, to the Deputy Commissioner whose decision in the matter shall be final. Title: Use of Trade Mark for Export Trade and Use when Form of Trade Connection Changes

(1) The application in India of trade mark to goods to be exported from India or in relation to services for use outside India and any other act done in India in relation to goods to be so exported or services so rendered outside India which, if done in relation to goods to be sold or services provided or otherwise traded in within India would constitute use of a trade mark therein, shall be deemed to constitute use of the trade mark in relation to those goods or services for any purpose for which such use is material under this Act or any other law. (2) The use of a registered trade mark in relation to goods or services between which and the person using the mark any form of connection in the course of trade subsists shall not be deemed to be likely to cause deception or confusion on the ground only that the mark has been or is used in relation to goods or services between which and the said person or a predecessor in title of that person a different form of connection in the course of trade subsisted or subsists.
