THE MONOPOLIES AND RESTRICTIVE TRADE PRACTICES ACT, 1969 [Act No. 54 of 1969] [27th December, 1969] PREAMBLE An Act to provide that the operation of the economic system does not result in the concentration of economic power to the common detriment, for the control of monopolies, for the prohibition of monopolistic and restrictive trade practices and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto. THE SREEPADAM LANDS ENFRANCHISEMENT ACT, 1969 Act 20 of 1969 THE SREEPADAM LANDS ENFRANCHISEMENT ACT, 1969 An Act to provide for the enfranchisement of Sreepadam lands on payment of compensation and for matters connected therewith. Preamble . " WHEREAS it is expedient to provide for the enfranchisement of Sreepadam lands on payment of compensation and for matters connected therewith; Be it enacted in the Nineteenth Year of the Republic of India as follows:" 1 Short title, and commencement . " (1) This Act may be called the Sreepadam Lands Enfranchisement Act, 1969. (2) It shall come into farce on such date as the Government m ay, by notification in the Gazette, appoint. 2. Definitions . "In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires, " (a) "appointed day" means the day on which this Act comes into force; (b) "basic-tax" means the tax imposed under the provisions of the Kerala Land Tax Act, 1961 (13 of 1961) ; (c) "financial year" means the year commencing on the 1st day of April; (d) "holding" means any parcel or parcels of Sreepadam lands held by a landholder; (e) "kuthakapattom" means a lease of Sreepadam lands of trees on such lands or of trees on such lands.....

.....in the Twentieth Year of the Republic of India as follows:- SECTION 01: SHORT TITLE This Act may be called The President (Discharge of Functions) Act, 1969. SECTION 02: DEFINITIONS In this Act "President", "Vice-President" and "Second Schedule" shall mean the President of India, the Vice-President of India and the Second Schedule to the Constitution, respectively. SECTION 03: DISCHARGE OF PRESIDENT'S FUNCTIONS IN CERTAIN CONTINGENCIES (1) In the event of the occurrence of vacancies in the offices of both the President and the Vice-President, by reason in each case of death, resignation or removal, or otherwise, the Chief Justice of India or in his absence, the senior most Judge of the Supreme Court of India available shall discharge the functions of the President until a new President elected in accordance with the provisions of the Constitution to fill the vacancy in the office of the President enters upon his office or a new Vice-President so elected begins to act as President under Article 65 of the Constitution, whichever is earlier. (2) When the Vice -President, while discharging the functions of the President, dies, resigns, or is removed or otherwise ceases to hold.....

THE HARYANA BOARD OF SCHOOL EDUCATION ACT, 1969 THE HARYANA BOARD OF SCHOOL EDUCATION ACT, 1969 (Act No. 11 of 1969) [Received the assent of the Governor of Haryana on the 23rd February, 1969, and was first published in the Haryana Government Gazette (Extraordinary), of the 26th February, 1969] An Act to provide for the establishment of a Board of School Education in the State of Haryana. 1. Short title, extent and commencement. (1) This Act may be called the Haryana Board of School Education Act, 1969. (2) It extends to the whole of the State of Haryana. (3) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification, appoint in this behalf. 2. Definitions. In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires, (a) "Board" means the Board of School Education, Haryana, established and constituted under section 3; (b) "exanimation" means an examination conducted by the Board; (c) "institution" means an educational institution imparting school education; (d) "managing committee" means the managing committee constituted by the foundation society or the Governing body of a recognised institution not owned or controlled by.....

(2) The tax referred to in sub-section (1) shall be recoverable from the proprietor of the dramatic performance or circus performance, as the case may be.
