.....Warehousing Corporation" means the Central Warehousing Corporation, established or deemed to be established under the Warehousing Corporation Act, 1962 (Act No. 58, 1962); (ix) "Chief Executive Officer" means a person, appointed as such under sub-section (2) of section 36 of the Act, by Agriculture Produce Marketing Committee. (x) "Collector" means the Collector of the District, where the Principal Market Yard of the Market Area is located, and includes such other officer, as may be authorized by him in that behalf; (xi) "Commissioner" means, the Commissioner of such administrative division of the State, where the Principal Market Yard of the Market Area is located;. (xii) "Commission Agent, dalal or arhatiya" means a person, who, in the ordinary course of business, negotiates or arrange contracts for the purchase or sale of the agricultural produce, on behalf of his principal, on payment of his commission or remuneration, whether in cash or kind, but it does not include the servant of such principal, whether engaged in negotiating or arranging such contracts; (xiii) "Committee " means the Agricultural Produce Marketing Committee, constituted under this Act; .....

The Tripura Value Added Tax (Amendment) Act, 2007 Complete Act

.....:- In Section 89 of the Principal Act, after sub-section (1), the following sub-section shall be inserted, namely :- "(1)A. The Tripura purchase Tax Act 1990 (Act No.9 of 1990) (here in after referred as repealed Act) as in force in the State of Tripura is hereby repealed. Provided that such repeal shall not affect the previous operation of the said Act or any right, title, obligation or liability already acquired, accrued or incurred thereunder and subject there to, anything done or any action taken including any appointment, notification, notice, order, rule form, regulation, certificate, license or permit in exercise of any power conferred by or under the said Act, shall be valid and always be deemed to have been valid, during the period that Act was in force notwithstanding the repeal of the Act." 17. Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 Chapter IV

Title: Special Responsibilities as to Food Safety

(3) Any person desirous to commence or carry on any food business shall make an application for grant of a licence to the Designated Officer in such manner containing such particulars and fees as may be specified by regulations. (4) The Designated Officer on receipt of an application under sub-section (3), may either grant the licence or after giving the applicant an opportunity of being heard and for reasons to be recorded in writing, refuse to grant a licence to any applicant, if he is satisfied that it is necessary so to do in the interest of public.....

Cantonments Act, 2006 Chapter IV

Title: Duties and Discretionary Functions of Boards
