Title: Establishment of Federation and Accession of Indian States

.....inconsistent with the scheme ofFederation embodied in this Act: Providedthat after the establishment of the Federation, if any Instrument has in factbeen accepted by His Majesty, the validity of that Instrument or of any of itsprovisions shall not be called in question and the provisions of this Act shall,in relation to the State, have effect subject to the provisions of theInstrument. (5)It shall be a term of every Instrument of Accession that the provisions of thisAct mentioned in the Second Schedule thereto, may, without affecting theaccession of the State, be amended by or by authority of Parliament, but notsuch amendment shall, unless it is accepted by the Ruler in a supplementaryInstrument, be construed as extending the functions which by virtue of theInstrument are exercisable by His Majesty or any Federal Authority in relationto the State. Title: Control of Access to the National Highways

Section 29 - Procedure for permission to access to Highway (1) The general permission under sub-section (1) of section 28 shall be given by issuing notification in the Official Gazette for such purpose and specific permission under that sub-section shall be given in the manner specified hereinafter under this section. Title: Accession to Mortgaged Property

.....proper cost thereof, as an addition to the principal money,1 [with interest at the same rate as is payable on the principal, or, where no such rate is fixed, at the rate of nine per cent. per annum]. Karnataka Highways Act, 1964 Section 13

Title: Regulation or Diversion of Right of Access to Highway

State: Karnataka

(1) The Highway Authority may, if it is considered essential in the interest of safety or convenience of traffic, regulate or divert any existing right of access to a highway across the land lying between the control line and the highway boundary: Provided that the existing right of access shall not be diverted until alternative access has been given. (2) Where the existing right of access is diverted, the point at which alternative access is given to the highway shall not be unreasonably distant from the existing point of access. (3) The Highway Authority shall, by notification in the official Gazette, publish the date on which the existing right of access has been diverted and alternative access has been given.

Electricity Act, 2003 Section 42

Title: Duties of Distribution Licensee and Open Access

Credit Information Companies (Regulation) Act, 2005 Section 22

Title: Unauthorised Access to Credit Information

(1) No person shall have access to credit information in the possession or control of a credit information company or a credit institution or a specified user unless the access is authorised by this Act or any other law for the time being in force or directed to do so by any court or tribunal and any such access to credit information without such authorisation or direction shall be considered as an unauthorised access to credit information. (2) Any person who obtains unauthorised access to credit, information as referred to in sub-section (1) shall be punishable with fine which may extend to one lakh rupees in respect of each offence and if he continues to have such unauthorised access, with further fine which may extend to ten thousand rupees for every day on which the default continues and such unauthorised credit information shall not be taken into account for any purpose.

Title: Procedure for Permission to Access to Highway

.....such permission has been given shall obtain the licence from the Highway Administration in the prescribed form enumerating therein the terms and conditions, if any, subject to which such permission has been given, and such permission shall be renewed after such period and in such manner as may be prescribed. (4) If any person contravenes the provisions of sub-section (1) of section 28 or violates any terms and conditions subject to which permission has been given under sub-section (2) including non-renewal of licence obtained under sub-section (3), his access to Highway under the permission under sub-section (1) or sub-section (3), as the case may be, shall be deemed to be unauthorised access and the Highway Administration or the officer authorised by such Administration shall have the power to remove such access and where necessary, the Highway Administration or such officer may use the necessary force with the assistance of the police to remove such access.

Title: Right of Access

State: Central

Year: 2002

(1) No person shall have right of access to a Highway either through any vehicle or on foot by a group of five or more persons except permitted by the Highway Administration either generally or specifically in the manner specified in section 29. (2) The access to a Highway under sub-section (1) shall be subject to the guidelines and instructions issued by the Central Government from time to time. (3) The Highway Administration may, by notification in the Official Gazette, declare a Highway or any portion thereof to be limited for access in the manner as specified in such notification and may also impose any restriction or control on such access to, from or across such Highway as specified in that notification.
