.....in sports and games in conformity with the National Sports Policy and the State Sports Policy and guidelines relating thereto; and (e) any other matter arising out of the functions of the Authorities under this Act, in which it is necessary or expedient to make regulations. 27. Power to remove doubt and difficulties. If any doubt or difficulty arises in giving effect to the provisions of this Act, the Government may, as occasion may require, by order, do anything not difficulties, inconsistent with the provisions of this Act or the rules, which appears to them necessary for the purpose of removing the doubt or difficulty: Provided that no order shall be issued under this section after the expiry of a period of two years from the date of commencement of this Act. .....Act, 1994. Amendment of section 4-B Orissa Act 19 of 1954 2 . In the Orissa Legislative Assembly Members, Salary, Allowances and Pension Act, 1954, in section 4-B,- (a) for sub-section (1) excluding the Explanation thereto, the following shall be substituted, namely:- "(1) With effect from the commencement of the Orissa Legislative Assembly Members' Salary, Allowances and Pension (Amendment) Act, 1994 there shall be paid a pension of seven hundred rupees per mensem to every person who has held office for a period of four years, whether continuous or not, as a member of the Assembly: Provided that where any person has held office for a period exceeding five years, there shall be paid to him an additional pension of one hundred rupees per mensem for every year in excess of five years: Provided further that where any pension has held office as a member of Assembly twice for its duration as provided in clause (1) of article 172 of the Constitution, whether consecutively or not, and who is not entitled to any pension under the foregoing provisions of this sub-section, he shall, with effect from the commencement of the Orissa Legislative Assembly Members' Salary,.....

.....Year of the Republic of India as follows:- 1. Short title. This Act may be called the Orissa State Commission for Backward Classes (Amendment) Act, 1994. 2. Amendment of section 3. .....APPLICATION TO THE STATE OF ORISSA BE it enacted by the Legislature of the State of the Orissa in the Forty-fifth Year of the Republic of India, as follows:- Short title. 1 . This Act may be called the Code of Criminal Procedure (Orissa Amendment) Act, 1994. Amendment of section 25. 2 of 1974. 2 . In-section 25 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (hereinafter referred to as the said Code), to sub-section (2), the following proviso shall be inserted namely:- "Provided that nothing in this sub-section shall be construed, to prohibit the State Government from exercising its control over Assistant Public Prosecutors through police officers."
