THE LAND ACQUISITION (ORISSA AMENDMENT AND VALIDATION) ACT, 1959 THE LAND ACQUISITION (ORISSA AMENDMENT AND VALIDATION) ACT, 1959 PREAMBLE An Act to amend the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 and to validate the acquisition of lands made for certain purposes in the State of Orissa Whereas, doubts having arisen in respect of certain acquisitions made for industrial development in the State of Orissa, it is expedient to amend the Land Acquisition Act, 1894 (Act 1 of 1894) and to validate such acquisitions.
