Bombay Reorganisation Act, 1960 Complete Act

.....to the execution of any project for such generation or supply has been or is likely to be modified to the disadvantage of that area by reason of the fact that it is, by virtue of the provisions of Part II, outside the State in which the power stations and other installations for the generation and supply of such power, or the catchments area, reservoirs and other works for the supply of water, as the case may be, are located, the Central Government may give such directions, as it deems proper to the State Government or other authority concerned for maintenance, so far as practicable, of the previous arrangement. Maharashtra Ancient Monuments and Archaeological Sites and Remains Act, 1960 Complete Act

.....(4) A notification published under sub-section (3) shall, unless and until it is withdrawn by the State Government, be conclusive evidence of the fact that the ancient and historical monument to which it relates is a protected monument for the purposes of this Act. SECTION 05: ACQUISITION OF RIGHTS IN A PROTECTED MONUMENT (1) The Collector may, with the sanction of the State Government, purchase, or take a lease of, or accept a gift or bequest of, any protected monument. (2) Where a protected monument is without an owner, the Collector may, by notification in the Official Gazette, assume the guardianship of the monument. (3) The owner of any protected monument may, by written instrument, constitute the Collector the guardian of the monument, and the Collector may, with the sanction of the State Government, accept such guardianship. (4) When the Collector has accepted the guardianship of a monument under sub-section (3), the owner shall, except as expressly provided by this Act, have the same estate, right, title and interest in or to the monument, as if the Collector had not been constituted a guardian thereof. .....PROVISIONS OF ACT XXVII OF 1960 IN THEIR APPLICATION TO MAHARASHTRA STATE LXIV OF 1951 XXV II of 1960 The amendments made to the Evacuee Interest (Separation) Supplementary Act, 1951 by the Evacuee Interest (Separation) Supplementary Act, 1960, shall, in so far as they relate to any matters enumerated in List II in the Seventh Schedule to the Constitution of India, be valid and effectual in the State of Maharashtra as if the provisions contained therein had been enacted by the State Legislature SECTION 03: REPEAL OF MAH. ORD. NO. I OF 1960. MAH. ORD. NO. I OF 1960. BOM. I OF 1904 The Maharashtra Evacuee Interest (Separation) Supplementary Ordinance, 1960, is hereby repealed;; and the provisions of sections 7 and 25 of the Bombay General Clauses Act, 1904, shall apply to such repeal as if that ordinance were an enactment. This Act is designed to achieve the above objects.- vide Statement of Objects and Reasons.- Mah. 34 of 1962. Under section 31 of the Bombay Khadi and Village Industries Act, 1960, an order called the Maharashtra Khadi and Village Industries Board (Bombay, Poona and East Khandesh) (Dissolution and Reconstitution) Order, 1962, was issued on 12th February, 1952. Under that Order a new Board called the Maharashtra State Khadi and Village Industries Board has been established for the whole of the State of Maharashtra by dissolving the Khadi and Village Industries Board (Bombay, Poona and East Khandesh) constituted under the State Corporation Act, 1957, for a part of the State of Maharashtra. Before the constitution of this new Board, the Village Industries Schemes in the Vidarbha region and Marathwada were implemented by the then Directorate of Industries (now the Industries Commissioner, Bombay) through the Deputy Director of Industries, Nagpur and Aurangabad under executive orders. SECTION 02: REPEAL OF CERTAIN PROVISIONS RELATING 10 COLLECTORS AND ADDITIONAL DISTRICT MAGISTRATES IN HYDERABAD AREA (1) Any provision of a law which, in effect, provides that references to the District Magistrate in relation to the Hyderabad area or any district therein mean, or shall be construed as references to, "the Collector" or "Collector and Additional District Magistrate" shall be deemed to have ceased to have effect from the first day of September 1959, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before that date.
