Section4 Transfer Scheme (1) With effect from the date of the notification issued by the Central Government under section 511-A of the Delhi Municipal Corporation Act, 1957 relating to water supply, drainage and sewage disposal, the Board shall be the "new authority" referred to in sub-section (1) of section 511-B of the said Act and shall perform the "transferred functions" , being those relating to therein, and the provisions of section 511-B of the said Act shall apply to the Board as such "new authority" in respect of water supply, drainage and sewage disposal. (2) The designations of the employees of the Corporation working under the Delhi Water Supply and Sewage Disposal Undertaking shall remain the same until modified by the Board. (3) All financial, administrative and disciplinary powers which were being exercised by the Corporation or by the Delhi Water Supply and Sewage Disposal Committee or by any other body set up by the Corporation for water supply, drainage and sewage disposal, shall subject to and.....
List Judgments citing this section..... (1) This Act may be called the Delhi Administration (Amendment) Act, 1988. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 24th day of December, 1987. Section 2 - Amendment of section 10 In section 10 of the Delhi Administration Act, 1966 (19 of 1966) (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), in the proviso, for the words "provided that the said period", the following shall be substituted, namely:-- "Provided that the Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, extend the said period for reasons to be specified in the notification by such period not exceeding one year at a time as it thinks fit, so, however, that the total period so extended shall not exceed three years: Provided further that the said period or extended period". Section 3 - Repeal and saving (1) The Delhi Administration (Amendment) Ordinance, 1987 (Ord. of 1987), is hereby repealed. (2) Notwithstanding such repeal, anything done or any action taken under the principal Act, as amended by the said Ordinance, shall be deemed to have been or taken under the principal Act, as amended by this Act.
