CIRCULAR
To those members of the Staff who Resorted of Work-to-rule Agitation.
In spite of our warning letter dated ..................instant and order of the ................(Court), served on workmen we have to point out that you are not only continuing in your so-called work-to rule agitation, but you have intensified the same. Please note that absence from work and negligence is not only a breach of contract but also a misconduct. It is noticed that every half-an-hour you stand up in your seat and remain there standing for another five minutes without any reasonable cause. After another half-an-hour, you again go out from the place of work in groups and remain absent from work for another ..... minutes. This means that during the actual ....... hours of work, you are absenting from work for more than two hours of work every day. This is being done deliberately and in concert in pursuance of your earlier threats of resorting to work-to-rule agitation, etc. with a view to force the management to implement the Award, which is under appeal. You have been doing all this with a view to interfere with the business and working of the Company. Any action on your part to force the enforcement of Award till the disposal of the above appeal, is not only illegal but also amounts to contempt of the Hon'ble Supreme Court. We have repeatedly drawn your attention to all this but you have all along disregarded the Court's Order and have resorted to illegal methods.
Please note that your aforesaid absence from work will render you liable to deductions of wages upto eight days for every such single absence in addition to exposing yourself to disciplinary actions contempt of court and performance of decree if agitation will not stopped the forthwith then management will complied to take appropriate action.
