Air Force, The (English) Air Forces (Constitution) Act, 1917, replaced the Air Board by the Air Council, and provides that it shall consist of a Secretary of State and other persons appointed in accordance with s. 8. The Air Force is subject to the Army Act, and its organization, administration and discipline is further provided for by the Act of 1917 and succeeding Acts.
