From the bar, the expression 'from the Bar' would only mean from the class or group of advocates practising in courts of law. It does not have any other attribute, Sushma Suri v. Government of NCT of Delhi, (1999) 1 SCC 330 (337). (Delhi Higher Judical Service Rules, 1970, R .7)
