Chinese. The Australian colonies (see especially the Chinese Immigration Restriction Act, 1888, of New South Wales) have passed many Acts restricting Chinese immigration, and in Musgrove v. Chung Teeong Toy, 1891 AC 272, it was held by the Judicial Committee of the Privy Council that a Chinese immigrant or other alien has no right enforceable by action to enter British territory
