Wynton, Statute of (13 Edw. 1, st. 2, AD 1285). Chapter 6, which prohibits the holding of fairs and markets in churchyards, is still in force. The remaining chapters were repealed as to England by the Criminal Law Act, 1827, and as to Ireland by the Statute Law Revision (Ireland) Act, 1872.
