Worker and mali, 'malis' were workers within meaning of s. 2 of U.P. Industrial Disputes Act; and that the Malis were industrial employees, within meaning of Government order dated Dec. 6, 1948 and hence were entitled to get benefit of dear food allowance, J.K. Cotton Spinning and Weaving Mills Co. Ltd. v. Labour Appellate Tribunal of India, AIR 1964 SC 737: (1964) 3 SCR 724.
