Definition
Work, means any of the following works, namely:
(i) a literary, dramatic, musical or artistic work;
(ii) a cinematograph film;

The general words 'work' is limited to something material in the sense of buildings, structures etc., mere fencing a vacant plot is not within the expression 'work', Kantaben M. Amin v. Special

1. Physical and mental exertion to attain an end, esp. as controlled by and for the benefit of employer
