Definition
Warping. A mode of fertilizing land by the 'wrap' or deposit of flooded or tidal rivers artificially let in over the land and let off from it. Warping is an improvement within the Agricultural Holdings Act for which compensation is payable if executed with the consent of the landlord, and an improvement upon which a tenant for life may expend capital money under the Settled Land Act, 1925.
