Definition :

Public emergency, a 'public emergency' is one which raises problems concerning the interest of the public safety, the sovereignty and integrity of India, the security of the State, friendly relations with foreign state or public order or the prevention of incitement to the commission of an offence, Communist Party of India (Marxist) Maharashtra v.
