The petitioner has invoked the extraordinary writ jurisdiction of this Court for quashment of the entire criminal proceeding including the order dated 7.7.2006 whereby the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Ranchi took cognizance of the offence under Sections 406/420 of the Indian Penal Code against the petitioner, the record now pending in the court of Sri. R.N. Rai Judicial Magistrate, Ist Class, Ranchi arising out of Kotwali P.S. Case No. 592 of 2005 corresponding to G.R. No. 2911 of 2005.2.
