25. 01-2012 Petitioner being husband is apprehending his arrest in a complaint case in which cognizance has been taken under Section 498A of the I.P.C. and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act. Though there is accusation of torture and demand of dowry, but it is submitted by learned counsel for the petitioner that petitioner is ready to keep the complainant as wife with full dignity and honour. It appears from the impugned order that in spite of issuance of notice, the complainant chose not to appear before learned Court below. Considering the aforesaid facts, let the petitioner namely Amod Das, in the event of his arrest or surrender before the Court below within a period of 12 weeks from today, be released on anticipatory bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/-(ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned S.D.J.M., Patna City in connection with C.A.
