25. 01-2012 Petitioner is apprehending his arrest in a case registered for the offences under Sections 147, 148, 149, 307, 323, 341, 342, 447, 448 of the I.P.C. and Section 27 of the Arms Act. It is alleged against the petitioner to have made assault with butt of the pistol. It is submitted that simple injury has been caused. Considering the fact that case was instituted in 1999, this Court is not inclined to interfere. However, considering the nature of accusation, this is a fit case for grant of regular bail. With the observations above, the application stands disposed off in connection with Raniganj P.S. Case No. 39 of 1999, pending in the Court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Araria.
