11. 01.2012 In these matters the law having been settled, the only question that remains was of calculating the arrears and restoring the pay-scales. Universities state that they have restored the pay-scale but so far as arrears are concerned, they wait for funds from the State Government. Learned counsel for the State is unable to state apart from the fact that they have issued direction for payment as to whether funds have been made available to the Universities. Thus, the matter is between the State and the University. Without going into ifs and buts, both the State Government and the Universities are directed to file affidavit of compliance of payment of arrears along with detail calculation by 31 st January, 2012. List all these cases at the top of the list under the heading For Orders on 08th February, 2012. Trivedi/ (Navaniti Prasad Singh, J.)
