Shyamuddin Versus The State Of Bihar ---------------------------------- 2/ 24.1.2012 Heard Mr. Jagdish Prasad, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. P.N. Pandit, learned counsel for the State. The petitioner is languishing in custody since 21.10.2011 in a case registered under sections 414, 420, 290, 120B and 272 of the Indian Penal Code and section 47(A) Excise Act. It is alleged that twenty thousand liters of spirit was recovered from the tanker. The petitioner was near the tanker in a Bolero car. It is submitted that the petitioner has no criminal antecedent and other accused persons named in the FIR, have been released on bail.
