MISHRA ------ For the Petitioner : Mr.D.K.Chakraverty, Advocate. For the State : A.P.P. ------ 3/ 17.06.2013 Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.P.P. for the Prosecution. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Sidhgora P.S. Case No. 01 of 2013 corresponding to G.R. No. 07 of 2013 for the offence under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471, 386, 120-B/ 34 of the Indian Penal Code. From the FIR, which was lodged on the basis of the self statement of a Police Officer, it appears that one co-accused was apprehended by the police, from whom, certain mobile phones and cash were recovered and he confessed to be involved in extortion of levy on behalf of the petitioner and the co-accused who were in jail. It is apparent from the FIR itself that the petitioner was in jail custody and he has only been named by the apprehended co-accused. In the facts of this case, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner, Jasbir Singh on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri R. K. Singh, learned Judicial Magistrate 1st class, Jamshedpur, or his successor, in connection with Sidhgora P.S. Case No. 01 of 2013 corresponding to G.R. No. 07 of 2013. ( H. C. Mishra, J.) BS/
