No. 131/2013 In this application, information has been given regarding the death of the sole petitioner. It has been stated that the sole petitioner died on 6.12.2012. After the death of the sole petitioner, this election petition stands abated under the provision of Section 112 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951. Learned counsel for the respondent has not controverted the said statements. The intimation regarding the death of the sole petitioner is noted. The legal consequence would follow. No. 131/2013 about the death of the sole petitioner, this election petition stands abated in view of the provision of Section 112 of the Representation of the People Act, 1951. Office is directed to send written information about the death of the sole petitioner to all concerned including the Election Commission and the concerned office for publication in the Official Gazette of the State of Jharkhand.
