2. The grievance of the petitioner is that he has

not received the payment for works undertaken at the hands of the Department of Minor Irrigation. In that -3- regard, the petitioner has given a representation at Annexure-M dated 08.07.2023 seeking payment of the amount, the petitioner is entitled for the works undertaken and completed by the petitioner. The prayer therefore, is to issue a writ of mandamus directing respondent Nos.3 and 4 to consider the representation given by the petitioner and pay the amounts.

3. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of with

a direction to respondent Nos.3 and 4 to consider the representation dated 08.07.2023 at Annexure-M and take appropriate steps to redress the grievance of the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
