Dated this the 9th day of July 2020 The petitioners are the accused in Crime No.1320/2020 of Aranmula Police Station, registered for offences under Section 341, 294(b), 323, 427 r/w 34 of the Indian Penal Code.

2. Respondents 2 and 3 are the defacto

complainants. The learned counsel appearing for respondents 2 and 3 submits that the dispute, which led to filing of the complaint, has been resolved amicably and an affidavit to that effect has already filed.

3. Heard the learned Public Prosecutor also, who on instructions submits that the petitioners have no criminal antecedents. Crl.MC.No.2944 OF 2020(G) ..3..

4. Having considered the gravity of the offences

alleged, the nature of the wound inflicted and having perused the affidavit filed by respondents 2 and 3, the contents of which is submitted to be true and voluntary, I am satisfied that the matter has been amicably settled and that no public interest is involved in this matter. Hence, there is no impediment in granting the relief sought. In the result, this Crl.M.C. Is allowed. The proceedings in Crime No.1320/2020 of Aranmula Police Station is quashed.
