PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C/ 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, to call for the records relating to the FIR in Crime No.212 of 2024 on the file of first respondent and quash the same. ORDER
This matter is posted today before this Court under the caption 'For Being Mentioned' at the instance of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that there is some typographical error in Paragraph No.5 of the order dated 10.02.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.3257 of 2025. Hence, he prayed for suitable directions.
3. Considering the submission made by the learned Government
Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the petitioner, this petition is clarified and Paragraph No.5 of the order dated 10.02.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.3257 of 2025 shall read as follows:-
“5. In view of the above, the FIR in Crime No.212 of 2024 on the file of the first respondent, is hereby quashed. The terms of Joint Memo of Compromise shall form part and parcel of this Order. The petitioner and the defacto complainant shall pay a sum of Rs.5,000/-, (Rupees Five Thousand only) each as costs, to the Chief Justice Relief Fund, Tamil Nadu, forthwith and file a photocopy of the receipt along with a memo reporting compliance in the Registry. ”
4. Registry is directed to correct the order dated 10.02.2025 in Crl.O.P.No.3257 of 2025, as above and issue order copy afresh. Internet:Yes Index:Yes/No
