.....ssp-i a/w. sri. thejesh p., hcgp) this wp(hc) is filed under article 226 ofconstitution of india, by the petitioner, wherein prays that the hon'ble court may be pleased to (i). issue a writ of habeas corpus or any other appropriate writ, order, or direction directing the respondents to produce the missing minor girl tannu kumari, aged 12 years, before this hon'ble court and etc. this petition, coming on for orders, this day,judgment was delivered therein as under:coram: hon'ble mrs. justice anu sivaraman andhon'ble dr. justice k.manmadha raooral judgment(per: hon'ble mrs. justice anu sivaraman) this writ petition is filed seeking the following reliefs: i) issue a writ of habeas corpus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing the respondents to produce the missing minor girl tannu kumari aged 12 years, before this hon'ble court; ii) direct the respondents to immediately trace the whereabouts of the minor girl, and take all -3- necessary steps including formation of a special investigation team, if required; iii) pass such other order(s) as this hon'ble court may deem just and proper in the interest of justice and equity.2. it is submitted by the learned spp appearing for therespondents that earnest attempts had been made to trace the missing person, but she could not be traced. in the circumstances, an order has been passed on 06.06.2025 transferring the crime registered in the instant case i.e., crime no.368/2024 of madiwala police station to the police inspector, anti-human trafficking women police station (ahtu) with immediate effect.3. it is submitted that the records available in thematter will also be transferred to anti-human trafficking unit. it is further submitted that the said unit will proceed with the investigation in accordance with law.4. the submissions are recorded. -4-5. accordingly, the writ petition is closed with a direction to the respondents to continue and complete the investigation.....

(PER: HON'BLE MRS. JUSTICE ANU SIVARAMAN) This writ petition is filed seeking the following reliefs: i) Issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction directing the respondents to produce the missing minor girl Tannu Kumari aged 12 years, before this Hon'ble Court; ii) Direct the Respondents to immediately trace the whereabouts of the minor girl, and take all -3- necessary steps including formation of a special investigation team, if required; iii) Pass such other order(s) as this Hon'ble Court may deem just and proper in the interest of justice and equity.

2. It is submitted by the learned SPP appearing for the

respondents that earnest attempts had been made to trace the missing person, but she could not be traced. In the circumstances, an order has been passed on 06.06.2025 transferring the crime registered in the instant case i.e., Crime No.368/2024 of Madiwala Police Station to the Police Inspector, Anti-Human Trafficking Women Police Station (AHTU) with immediate effect.
