ORAL ORDER

1. Petitioner is before this Court, seeking for the following relief:-

"Wherefore, the Petitioner above named most respectfully prays that this Hon'ble High Court may be pleased to order and direct the Respondent Police to release the petitioner on bail in the event of his arrest in Crime No.60/2025 of Respondent Kumaraswamy Layout Police Station, registered for alleged offence punishable U/s 318 (2), 318(4) r/w 3(5) of BNS, pending on the file of XXX ACJM, Bengaluru in the interest of justice."

2. Crime No.60/2025 has been registered by the Kumaraswamy

Layout Police Station against the petitioner for the offence punishable under Sections 318 (2), 318(4) r/w 3(5) of BNS Act. The allegation made against the petitioner is that the -3- petitioner received certain sum of money for taking lease of a property of which he is not even, the owner and as such the property having not be leased, a complaint had been filed for the offence under Section 318(2) of the BNS Act has been committed.

3. Submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner is that he would co-operate with the investigation and make available all the documents and details in regard to the said allegation.

4. In that view of the matter, restraining the respondent from
