JUDGMENT

Dated this the 30th day of November, 2021 The limited relief sought in this original petition is the expeditious disposal of FDIA No.8 of 2020 pending before the Munsiff Court, Tirur.

2. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is a handicapped senior citizen and delay in disposing the application is causing serious prejudice to him.

2. In the report called for, the learned Munsiff has

stated that the petition had been adjourned by notification due to the restricted functioning of the court and is posted to 07.01.2022 for depositing commission batta. According to the learned Munsiff, it will be possible to dispose the final decree application in eight months time. Having heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and having considered the report, the Original Petition is disposed of, directing the Munsiff, Tirur to take earnest efforts to pass final orders in FDIA No.8 of 2020m within eight months of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
